Commissions

My favourite way to work with clients is to take on commissions. To collaborate with somebody and help them bring something to life.

It has never worked for me to make 'stock' and try to sell it as I don't want to try to persuade people to accumulate more things. Rather, I prefer to work with somebody to create something they already know that they want. I am particularly interested in working with people to create items to mark moments of transition or to give textiles meaning and significance.

I use mostly secondhand fabric and aspire to give materials already in circulation a second life.
