2027 Calendars
This year I have created an outfit

in each month.
Now I am creating a calendar for 2027
featuring these photographs.

About the project
After the creative satisfaction I felt creating images from the costumes from Thresh and Bray's debut show in 2025, this year, I set myself a new year's resolution to create an outfit/costume and take a photo with a friend in the wilds of South Devon each month. The result has been a slowly growing pile of images featuring some of my closest friends and some of the most beautiful places in Devon.
It has also had a more surprising element that I hadn't expected: The photos have gently spoken to themes that have been emerging politically and in the wider world: Floods, heatwaves, Political tensions. I feel that there is some unknown threads connecting my creative work with a wider stage that I had not originally anticipated.
This has connected me with the longing to create an 'oracle' deck of cards for the collapsing times we're in featuring these images and the ways that Nature teaches us resilience and ways of coping in the face of global collapse.
This Calendar is my first step in realising this project as something that can be shared by an audience. There will be more to come and by pre-ordering a calendar you're supporting me to continue this project- thank you!
How's it going to work?
I am going to take the final image of 2026 in Early December- soon after that I will get the calendars printed and they'll be sent out (or be available for collection) to those that have completed the pre-order form below!
